Questions people often ask
Can I be assessed online?
Yes. Online assessments take place by secure video with the same clinicians and standards as our clinic in Edgware. If your clinician feels an in-person appointment would suit you better, we'll discuss it with you.
Do you assess children?
Yes. We assess children and young people with close involvement from parents or carers, and usually from school too, so the outcome reflects how your child is at home and in class.
Will my GP accept a private diagnosis?
Most GPs will add a private diagnosis to your records. Whether a GP agrees to prescribe ADHD medication under a shared care agreement is up to them, so we recommend checking your practice's policy.
What if I'm not diagnosed?
You'll still receive a report explaining what the clinician found, and they may suggest other explanations or sources of support. Many people find that clarity valuable in itself.
