Knowing what to expect can make an assessment feel much less daunting. Here is how the process works at 101 Clinic.
1. Get in touch
Call, email or book online. Our team will answer your questions and help you choose the right assessment.
2. Pre-assessment questionnaires
You will complete questionnaires about your current experiences and history. We may also ask someone who knows you well, or your child’s school, to contribute.
3. Your assessment appointment
You will meet a specialist clinician, in person or by video. They will talk with you in depth about your development, daily life and the challenges you face. It is a conversation, not an exam.
4. Outcome and report
Your clinician will explain the outcome and you will receive a detailed written report with recommendations.
5. Next steps
Depending on the outcome, this may include treatment options, onward referrals, or advice for school or work.
