Combined ADHD & Autism Assessment for Adults

HomeADHD & Autism (AuDHD)Combined ADHD & Autism Assessment for Adults

One joined-up pathway for adults exploring both ADHD and autism.

For adults who recognise significant traits associated with both ADHD and autism, a combined assessment can provide a more complete picture than pursuing two disconnected journeys.

The pathway explores the evidence relevant to each condition, including developmental history and current functioning. Your clinician may ask about attention, impulsivity, organisation, routines, sensory processing, communication, relationships, focused interests, education and work.

Why consider a combined assessment?

  • Your experiences do not fit neatly into one profile.
  • You have previously explored one condition but still have unanswered questions.
  • ADHD-related executive difficulties and autistic needs appear to interact.
  • A professional has suggested considering both conditions.

The assessment does not presume that both diagnoses will be made. Possible outcomes

  • ADHD
  • Autism
  • Both
  • Neither
  • Depending on the evidence

Following the assessment, the findings should be brought together in a way that makes sense in everyday life. Recommendations can then reflect the interaction between attention, executive functioning, communication, sensory needs and routines.

Contact us before booking if you are unsure whether a combined assessment or a single-condition pathway is more appropriate.

Exploring both ADHD and autism?

Combined assessments cost £2,195 for adults and £2,395 for children, less than booking both separately.
