Is the £195 initial consultation included in the £895 assessment price?
Yes. Your £195 initial consultation is included in the total £895 ADHD assessment price if you decide to proceed with a full assessment.
You pay £195 for your initial consultation, and if you choose to continue, this amount is deducted from the full assessment price. You will only need to pay the remaining £700.
This means you can take the first step towards understanding your symptoms without committing to the full assessment cost upfront.

Do I have to book a full assessment after my initial consultation?
No. There is absolutely no obligation to proceed with a full ADHD assessment after your initial consultation.
Your initial consultation is an opportunity to discuss your symptoms, concerns and experiences with one of our clinicians. We will help you understand whether a full ADHD assessment may be appropriate for you and explain the next steps.
You can then decide whether you would like to continue. The choice is entirely yours.
Can I book the full assessment without an initial consultation?
Yes. If you are ready to proceed with a full ADHD assessment, you can book directly for £895 without booking a separate initial consultation.
Alternatively, if you would prefer to discuss your symptoms and explore your options first, you can book an initial consultation for £195.
If you subsequently decide to proceed with the full assessment, your £195 consultation fee will be deducted from the total assessment price.
Whichever option you choose, our team will guide you through the assessment process and explain what to expect.
Will I receive an ADHD diagnosis?
Your full ADHD assessment will help determine whether you meet the diagnostic criteria for ADHD.
If your clinician confirms that you have ADHD, you will receive a formal diagnosis and a detailed assessment report explaining the findings and recommended next steps.
If ADHD is not diagnosed, your clinician will explain the outcome and discuss other possible reasons for your symptoms, where appropriate.
Our priority is to provide an accurate, professional assessment that helps you better understand yourself and identify the support you may need.
Is ADHD medication included in the £895 assessment price?
No. The £895 fee covers your ADHD assessment and diagnostic report. ADHD medication, prescriptions, medication reviews and ongoing treatment are not included.
If you receive an ADHD diagnosis, your clinician will discuss appropriate treatment options and whether medication may be suitable for you.
Medication is not necessary or appropriate for everyone. If you wish to explore medication, we can explain the available treatment pathways and any additional costs before you decide how to proceed.
Can I receive ADHD medication through the NHS after a private diagnosis?
It may be possible to receive ADHD medication through the NHS following a private diagnosis, but this is not guaranteed.
Your NHS GP may consider prescribing ADHD medication under a shared care agreement with an appropriate ADHD specialist, once your medication has been started and your dose is stable. However, your GP is not obliged to accept shared care following a private assessment.
At 101 Clinic, we can provide your assessment report for you to share with your GP and discuss the next steps towards accessing treatment.
We recommend speaking with your GP before booking a private assessment if receiving medication through the NHS is particularly important to you.
Can I use my assessment report for work or university?
Yes. Your ADHD assessment report can help you explain your diagnosis and support needs to your employer, university or other educational institution.
If you receive an ADHD diagnosis, your report may help support requests for reasonable adjustments, such as additional time for certain tasks, a quieter working environment, flexible working arrangements or additional learning support.
The adjustments and support available will depend on your individual circumstances and the requirements of your employer or educational institution.
Your report may also be useful when discussing your diagnosis and ongoing care with your GP or another healthcare professional.
What happens if I decide not to proceed after paying £195?
That’s absolutely fine. Your £195 initial consultation is a standalone service, and there is no obligation to book a full ADHD assessment afterwards.
If you decide not to continue, you will not be charged the remaining £700.
Your £195 consultation fee covers the initial consultation you have received and is not refundable simply because you choose not to proceed.
